How It All Started

Tracy and her husband met 33 years ago. She went to Germany with him for his first military tour. But they enjoyed the experience, and decided to have one more tour.

There were no employment for spouses during those years. Tracy devoted her time and energy instead into the military spouses in her husband’s company command. And, she loved connecting with women and building relationships with them.

Passion to Equip and Encourage

As the years progressed, Tracy and her husband went to a couple more tours. The 9/11 attack had a big impact on them.

She became the president of the Protestant Women of the Chapel, a ministry sponsored by the military chapel. Also, she served as a Family Readiness Group leader.

“A whole new world for military spouses, because our soldiers weren’t leaving to train—they were leaving for war.” -Tracy Lynn Dougherty

Tracy became passionate about helping women overcome challenges. She continued to volunteer until more doors opened to her. In 2012, she wrote a 12-week curriculum called Intentional Living which was well received by the community.

Available to More People Online

Tracy shares how fortunate she has been to have her husband as her biggest fan. He has been there for her, supporting her to help equip and encourage more women.

He and their daughter even planned a business for her. Tracy never thought she could turn her volunteer work to business. Now, she has a website that is available to a much larger audience.
