Troy was previously assigned to Forscom Flight Detachment. He flew cargo support during Desert Shield and Desert Storm. He is currently a single dad to a 14 year old daughter. Troy and his friend Wes have a patent on the first and only self-sealing latex balloon. This will eventually be the de facto balloon. Thier focus is to manufacture a balloon that doesn’t require a menacing knot to seal.

– Glooey’s is the first and only patented self-sealing balloon.

– Professional pilots and semi professional dads invent the first self sealing balloon.

– Dad Inventors create the world’s first self sealing ballon.

– Balloons of the future will all be self-sealing.

When you think of a balloon, you probably think of the decorative kind at birthday parties and other events. But balloons can also be used for other things like medical treatment, military defense, transportation or meteorology.

In the very beginning, balloons were made out of dried animal bladders. Luckily we’ve figured out how to make balloons out of latex and PET film now. But the basic balloon hasn’t really changed much since 1931.

Wes came up with the glooeys idea after tying water balloons for his then 4yo son. While his son could easily fill them, tying was, and still is, an issue. Once he had verified that the idea was doable, he contacted Troy to further the project.  Several years and many prototypes later the product has become what it is today.
