199: Ending Veteran Suicide New Rosie with Sarah Dale
Sarah Dale founded New Rosie with the mission to empower veteran families online. Tune in to her story and how she is ending veteran suicide with the organization.

“A lot of people don’t realize that it’s not that people are dying on the homefront; they are dying on that journey to get help.” – Sarah Dale
Help for the Injured Heroes
Sarah’s husband served in the Missouri Army National Guard for 13 years. He was deployed to different countries, including Germany and Iraq.

His career meant a lot of transitions to their family. In 2005, he returned home with various injuries from the field. They fought hard to receive the help he needed.
The Birth of New Rosie
New Rosie came as a result of that need. Sarah started the organization to empower veteran families to support one another. They provide practical solutions online for post-military life.
Empowering Veteran Families Online
Many have good intentions to provide help. But sometimes there are inevitable barriers and difficulties in the process.

Sarah understands this. And this is why she is so passionate in sharing resources and help for veteran families online.
